Accommodations:

We have reserved a block of rooms at the GrandStay Hotel & Suites in Mount Horeb. You can book online using the group code: dobbus at www.grandstaymounthoreb.com or call 855-455-7829.

Reservations must be made by May 20, 2025 to receive group discount.

If you are feeling more adventurous, you could also camp at Blue Mound State Park. Camping reservations can be made at wisconsin.goingtocamp.com/.

Transportation:

We have arranged for a shuttle from the GrandStay Hotel to the ceremony, reception, and back to the hotel at two separate times. If you plan on taking the shuttle, please let us know when you RSVP so we can insure there is enough space for everyone.

2:50pm - Shuttle will depart GrandStay Hotel for Blue Mound State Park

4:15pm - Shuttle will depart Blue Mound State Park for Prevailing Winds Lodge

10:00pm - First shuttle from Prevailing Winds Lodge to GrandStay Hotel

12:00am - Second Shuttle from Prevailing Winds Lodge to GrandStay Hotel

If you plan on driving, to minimize congestion at the wedding and reception sites carpooling is recommended. If you don't have a state park sticker, stop at the park office and tell them you are there for the Dobson wedding. They will get you a day pass. To access the reception, you will need to park on the road and take the golf cart shuttle up (don't worry you don't have to walk up the hill). Staff will take you directly to the event tent.
